There is everything from fishing, swimming, water skiing, surfing, snorkelling, diving, boating, bird watching to bushwalking as well as several great eateries.Fishing, swimming and water skiing in Burrill Lake (only 100m away) including use of our 2-man kayak. Surfing and swimming at the local beach 10 minutes walk away (the patrolled beach is at Mollymook). There are other beach areas worth visiting, like Tabourie and Dolphin Point.
LOCAL SHOPS AND EATERIES
Burrill Lake has its own takeaway seafood (among the best in Australia!) and a great café (Burrill Lake Café) for breakfast and lunch or takeaway healthy food. Within walking distance of the Old Boathouse are a bottle shop, fishing tackle supplier, Stand Up Paddling (lessons available) and a stroll over the bridge to a post office/newsagency, mini-market and hairdresser.
